It was a tougher team we were playing to begin with, and we were last minute down a player. Which meant the lead had to step up to play vice, and she was a bit nervous about stepping up (even though she was more than capable).

Plus the ice was a mess. Lots of random lines that would or wouldn't curl, weight sensitive, picks aplenty, etc. Hoping it's an anomaly, but it felt like how things got later on in last season.

Notes

• Way more curl than other sheets at (N) this year
• Wall side especially curled away like it was the old days, but almost too much, so there were draws that were impossible because everything would just crash to the same path
• Didn't really notice anything with the rocks, the ice seemed so bad it overwhelmed things
