A funny thing about me. Usually, it only takes one song that I listen to and go, "yeah alright", and I'll try the whole album. And sometimes, if that song is really good, I'll still have a fondness for you even if the rest of the album fell flat. And then I will be weirdly loyal to you, buying each subsequent release, even when they still don't land. These guys, I'll say to myself, I wonder if they've got another XYZ in them.

Ten years ago, "hugely successful and famous British musician makes spiritual retreat in India, comes back with record filled with sitars and Bollywood samples" would get eye-rolls for being too cliché. Five years ago, probably get you cancelled or something. Today, well, we can all just relax and enjoy some pretty darn catchy tunes. Damon, you've done it again!
